The O Dea Clan Gathering in 2008 will return to the Old Ground Hotel, O'Connell Street, downtown Ennis, site of the last Triennial Clan Gathering in 2005. The proximity of Ennis to Shannon Airport (24 km) and the location of excellent golf courses nearby ensure that housing for visitors is as varied and as plentiful as Ennis' famed pubs.  Accommodations in the region run the gamut from simple bed and breakfast rooms to deluxe hotels with many amenities.  Prices vary accordingly.
